Description

One of Fujifilm’s strengths has long been the quality of its out-of-camera JPEGs and it’s the same with the X100V – shots have pleasing, accurate color rendition and reliable exposure. But this chunky yet competent backpack doesn't have a killer feature or look that makes it stand out from some pretty tough competition. We tested it side-by-side with a Fujifilm X-T3 fronted by a 23mm f/2 lens, and it’s certainly not quite up to the level of that combination – the X100V was noticeably slower and noisier, particularly in low light situations. The dimensions are very manageable as well as the low weight of 478 grams including the battery and the SD card.

Then I turn it back on as I'm lifting it back up and it is ready to go before I'm looking through the viewfinder. You kept talking about how the rx100 is so much better because it has a zoom lens instead of a prime. Waiting until the market stabilises, paying the high markup, or simply opting to get the older X100F.

The X100V’s vastly improved hybrid viewfinder enables photographers to quickly and easily choose between the 0. That's why companies in places like Germany offer full benefits like health care, 30 vacation days, sick leave etc, because if they didn't the German government would bring down the hammer on them. I owned the other two f2 primes at the time and loved the 35mm as well as the 50mm but sold the 23mm as it did not grow on me. Through each successive iteration, Fujifilm has made its large-sensor, prime-lens compact camera more and more capable, and this latest model (officially pronounced Ex One Hundred Vee) takes the core bits of Fujifilm's high-end interchangeable-lens X-Pro3 and slips them into a much smaller package. The X100V looks just as good in the hand as it does in pictures – it’s expensive, but feels very premium. The quad-core X-Processor 4 is the X100V's powerful CPU that ensures images are quickly and smoothly processed.

THe only thing which could have made me consider an upgrade would have been a faster lense, and I doubt that it's even possible while keeping the same form factor. Once they went for the small Fujifilm wonder, they just fell in love with photography all over again. And I have a soft shutter screwed into the thread as well increasing the possibility of that happening. Incredibly beautiful skin tones under any lighting; Fujifilm's skin tones are the best in the business.
