The Cranford writing bureau is part of a French Country inspired range consisting of living, dining and office furniture. An early precursor to the Cranford style, this beautifully bound prose and verse translation of the story of the Volsungs was limited to 750 copies. This is a community that runs on cooperation and gossip, at the very heart of which are the daughters of the former rector: Miss Deborah Jenkyns and her sister Miss Matty. Based on a Rococo-style wallpaper document of the Victoria era, originally found at Cranford House, Middlesex.
