Though it has made its way onto my wrist on occasion since I got it back up and running, it still is not one that will be getting any extensive wear. It was probably at A158, but definitely in the vein of an F-91w, but I cannot say for sure as I no longer have it. In addition to the features listed above, this model also boasts an alarm function, second time zone, and much more. Not being able to find my original one, I’ll have to purchase a new one, I guess… Just to have it, to remind me, where my watch journey started long before I became a watch addict. You can use the location indicator to show the direction and distance to a pre-programmed location – a valuable feature just in case you would get lost. However, some of us are still lucky enough to own, if not the very first, one of the first watches we ever had. It’s true 🙂 The Wikipedia page reveals a lot of interesting information, even how it was used as a timer for detonating explosives. The lower left button, labelled "Mode", cycles the modes of the watch: time display, alarm, stopwatch, and time/date adjustment. The US government became suspicious of Afghans who wore Casio watches due to their ability to be used as timers for improvised explosive devices, a tactic favored by al-Qaeda. This spiffy watch, which while not a Rolex or an Omega, lets me know exactly what the time is (down to the second! I’m not sure if it was also an F-91W, but seeing it on his wrist, I thought it was the coolest thing.Maybe I should have read some other reviews before purchase, as there are 2 other notes stating that this is not a genuine Casio product, and I'm inclined to agree.
