If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. Petroleum distillate rubber conditioners can temporarily soften rubber seals and then turn them to mush over time, thus causing leaks.

I did an oil change just before application as I was due for one so this chemical will stay in my engine for at least 6 to 8 thousand kms. My gear box condition was getting bad to worst worst where I can’t engage in forward once a while and constantly unable to engage in reverse gear. I confess I did it but somehow a bit unease of potential unknown consequences as BMW’s manual warns against adding any additive to the oil, but most manufacturers will warn anyway due liabilities may be true for most warnings but not all (so I hope). The best thing to do with rubber suspension bushings is leave them alone and when worn out replace them, that's it. During my free time , I went through the instructions again , since I was puzzled why others had great experience with the product and not me. You don't have to drive it for 5 straight hours but I would say that 15 minutes at minimum is reasonable. Oil Saver completely stopped the leaks on my father's Taurus (though after me driving quate a bit more than he has in recent years).

Not guaranteed to work on all motors but give it time and don’t push the vehicle hard whilst it’s doing it’s job. I pulled out the o-rings and kind of wiped them with the solution a few times and let it soak in a little bit and put them back in.I can’t add much more as I did not performed a more scientific test, it is all personal observation without any concrete reliable data collection. I realise there's no substitute for replacing a faulty or worn seal, however as a 'quick fix', is this stuff any good?

was on a power steering pump that was leaking badly, thought I would give this stuff a try, guess what?My hyundai elantra developed a really bad leak after a lousy job done by the mechanic, which he didn't wanna own up ! AT-205 Re-Seal additive from ATP stops seal leaks in your engine, transmission, differential, and hydraulic systems (except for the brakes).

You sold that good, I bought a couple of bottles:) Watching youtube videos (NOT SC) and reading reviews makes me believe this aint just snake oil. Now, of course, it's not going to repair a damaged seal, but I'm curious if any of you have had any experience with it.Thanks for your reply - that's the answer I was hoping to hear, as I'm considering using this product to address the modest leak I have on the alternator bracket gasket/o-ring, until such time as I can undertake a permanent fix.
