For those who enjoy their aperitif on the rocks - Noilly Prat Original is delicious paired with seafood, such as oysters. Noilly Prat is produced in Marseillan, in the South of France, by the same methods since it was first created in 1813 by Louis Noilly.

The aged wines are blended with sweet mistelle wine, along with a raspberry and lemon-infused distillate. I always use this particular dry white vermouth, which should be pronounced along the lines of “Noiyeeh Prat” but which is familiarly known in my house as Nolly.
